These Sports Rules explain how sports bets are accepted, calculated, and settled on Bitfortune. By placing a bet, you confirm that you have read and accepted these rules along with the general Terms and Conditions. We may update these rules to reflect operational, regulatory, or product changes. The version available on the website at the time of betting will apply unless stated otherwise.
An “Event” is a scheduled sporting match or competition offered for betting. A “Market” is a specific betting option within an event, such as match winner, total goals, or handicap. “Odds” represent the price of a selection at the time your bet is accepted. A “Selection” is the outcome you choose within a market. A “Single” is one selection, while an “Accumulator” (combo/parlay) contains two or more selections.
All bets are subject to availability and acceptance by the system. A bet is considered valid only after it is confirmed as accepted and appears in your bet history. Bets placed after an event has started may be offered as live/in-play markets where available. We reserve the right to suspend or remove markets at any time, including during significant changes in match conditions.
You are responsible for checking the accuracy of your selections, stake, and odds before confirming a bet. If a bet is placed in error due to a confirmed technical issue, we may declare the bet void or correct the settlement based on the intended market and official result. If an obvious pricing or data error is identified (for example, clearly incorrect odds inconsistent with the market), we may void affected bets.
Odds displayed at the time of bet placement may change before acceptance. Once accepted, your bet is settled using the accepted odds. Potential returns are calculated according to the odds format shown on the site. For accumulators, total odds are generally the product of each individual selection’s odds.
Sportsbook offerings typically include pre-match and live bets. Common bet structures include singles and accumulators. System bets, special markets, or boosted offers may be available from time to time. Any additional conditions for promotional or enhanced markets will be shown at the time of placement.
Live markets reflect the evolving status of the event and may be suspended frequently. The odds and availability can change rapidly. If a significant moment occurs (such as a goal, red card, or injury time adjustment), the market may be temporarily suspended to update prices. A live bet is valid only if accepted before the relevant market suspension or price adjustment.
Displayed start times and live statistics are provided for convenience. They do not guarantee accuracy in real time. Settlement is based on official results and governing body data, not on temporary on-screen stats.
Bets are settled using the final official result as recognized by the relevant governing body. Once an event is settled, corrections may be made if a clearly documented official result change is issued. Routine statistical adjustments that do not change the official outcome may not affect settlement unless the market explicitly relies on that statistic.
If an event is postponed, suspended, or abandoned, the default settlement approach depends on the market and whether the event is completed within an acceptable timeframe. In many cases, bets stand if the event resumes and is completed within a defined period; otherwise, bets may be voided. For markets that are already decided at the time of interruption (for example, a first-half market where the first half is completed), settlement may still be based on the result of that completed period.
Match result markets are generally settled on the outcome at the end of regular time unless the market explicitly states that extra time or penalties are included. In football, this usually means ninety minutes plus stoppage time. Similar principles apply to other sports where regulation time is the standard basis for settlement.
Totals and handicaps are settled using the final score within the timeframe specified by the market. If a market states “including overtime,” then extra time is included; if not stated, settlement is usually based on regulation time.
Player and team performance markets are settled based on official statistics. If a listed player does not take part in the event at all, related markets may be void unless the market rules specify otherwise.
Where rules prevent multiple bets on closely related outcomes that create an unfair advantage, we may void or adjust affected wagers. This can apply to combinations that are effectively the same underlying outcome presented in different markets.
Maximum stakes, maximum returns, and market-specific limits may apply. These limits can vary by sport, competition, and bet type. We may restrict betting activity to manage risk, prevent abuse, or comply with legal requirements. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity conducted using your credentials.
If an obvious error occurs in odds, event details, or market parameters, we reserve the right to void bets placed at the incorrect price. This includes cases where the odds are clearly inconsistent with the actual probability implied by the market.
Sports betting should be treated as entertainment. If you feel your play is becoming difficult to control, consider setting limits or taking a break. Support options are available in our Responsible Gaming section.
If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly, contact support with your bet ID and details. We will review the case using these rules and the relevant official event data.
